"Radio Azad xeber" got the frequency 103.3 FM.
The decision was made by the Azerbaijani National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council.
Three proposals were received from "Radio Azad xeber", "Radio Obyektiv" and "Alternativ radio".
There are 13 radio stations in Azerbaijan.
The main criterion in selecting a radio channel is that it will broadcast only the socio-political, cultural, economic and social programs, the head of the Azerbaijani National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council, Nushiravan Maharramli said.
