According to him, the world championship in Baku will be attended by the boxers from more than 100 countries. "AIBA will further continue the successful cooperation with the BFA and organize international tournaments in Azerbaijan," said Ching-Kuo Wu.
The world championship will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from Sept. 22 to Oct. 10, 2011. World boxing championship has been held since 1974. In the CIS countries, such tournament was held only in Moscow in 1989.
