An earthquake took place in the Caspian Sea, in 120 kilometers east of Nardaran at 8:35 local time this morning , the National Seismological Service Center of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences said.
The earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale took place at a depth of 25 kilometers .
Tremors were not felt , the center said .
