Azerbaijani citizens mostly complain over local executive authorities

The Civil Service Commission under the Azerbaijani President mainly received complaints over the local executive power bodies' activities this year, Commission's Legal Sector Head Vugar Askerov told journalists on Friday.

The Civil Service Commission under the Azerbaijani President mainly received complaints over the local executive power bodies' activities this year, Commission's Legal Sector Head Vugar Askerov told journalists on Friday.

He said that the Commission has received 26 complaints from citizens during the reporting period. The commission examined 10 cases , seven were deemed groundless and investigations have been launched to assess nine complaints.

People complain about unethical conduct toward them, delayed cases, and refusals to accept their applications.

Askerov said that if complaints are confirmed, then disciplinary punishment will be applied in regard to civil servants violating the law.
