Azerbaijan to establish consultative career centers for youth

The career centers will be established in Azerbaijan in October, Deputy Head of the department under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection Halig Ilyasov said during debates at the Center for Strategic Studies, with the participation of young people.
"First, these centers will be established in Baku and Sumgait within a joint project of the World Bank and the Ministry," he said.
He said that young people aged 14-17 years will be mainly attracted. Young people will receive advice on choosing the career and future activity.
The debates were held with the participation of young people on the eve of the sixth forum of Azerbaijani youth. The purpose of the debate is for young people to actively participate in solving the urgent problems, to create conditions for improving theoretical knowledge, to develop culture and skills.
The main theme of the debate was focused on youth employment, stressed in the state program "Azerbaijani youth in 2011-2015".
The event was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Center for Strategic Studies under the Azerbaijani President and the Azerbaijani Student Youth Organizations Union.
