The International Baku Conference of Ombudsmen is intended to provide a declaration which would recommend ways in which governments may solve various human rights issues, a co-organizer of the conference and specialist in humanities and social sciences of the UNESCO Moscow Office Alla Ampar told media.
UNESCO's mission in organizing such events as the International Conference of Ombudsmen in Baku is to assemble and facilitate a dialogue between politicians and experts, Ampar said.
The IX International Conference of Ombudsmen is held in Baku today.
"Our goal is to attract and arouse interest, and to create a dialogue to develop recommendations in a particular area," Ampar said.
