Taking into account the information about beating U.S. citizen, journalist Amanda Erickson and British human rights defender Silva Davis by unknown people in the Yasamal district, Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova wrote a letter to Interior Minister Ramil Usubov, the Ombudsman's office told Trend.
Ombudsman asked him to personally control this issue, to reveal the perpetrators, to prosecute them and to inform her about it.
Baku's Yasamal District Police Department received information that four unknown people beat two women - British human rights defender Silva Davis and journalist Amanda Erickson on Vidadi street from June 15 -16, at 00:20.
