Parents who commit domestic violence against their children will be deprived of their parental rights in Azerbaijan.
This is stipulated by the changes to the Family Code, approved by the Azerbaijani Parliament.
According to the changes to the law on public health protection approved by the Azerbaijani parliament, domestic violence victims will be provided free professional assistance.
A number of bilateral documents signed by Azerbaijan and Morocco was also approved at an extraordinary session of the parliament.
