Azerbaijan, Baku, Sept. 3 / Trend I.Isabalayeva /

Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov said the country has never faced misunderstanding in the reception of teachers to secondary schools.

Roughly 10,000 candidates claimed for 3,000 teacher positions in the country's secondary schools, he told journalists today.

"This process is carried out in e-order. Undoubtedly, most applicants were not provided with jobs, but no one dissatisfied,' Mardanov said.

Mardanov said the number of those, who want to teach at the secondary schools in mountainous areas, is also big. Now work is underway to develop a strategy for the ten-year education and a working group was established in this regard, he said.

He said the draft strategy was supposed to be developed in three months. "This period has not yet expired. I am confident that we will submit the project to the president by the end of this period," he said.

Mardanov also said that information on the elimination of the Ministry's Construction Department contradicts the reality.
