On Sept.26-27, the Podlasie region of Poland will bring together the Ministers of Science of several EU and Eastern Partnership countries, as well as representatives of the European Commission to discuss exchange programmes for students and researchers beyond the EU's borders, ENPI Info Center reported.
The meeting bringing together Science Ministers of France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Armenia, Moldova, Georgia, and Azerbaijan is part of the Eastern Partnership Summit organised under the auspices of the Polish Presidency in Warsaw at the end of September.
The Erasmus Mundus programme's overall aim is to promote European higher education, to help improve and enhance the career prospects of students and to promote intercultural understanding through cooperation with third countries, in accordance with EU external policy objectives in order to contribute to the sustainable development of third countries in the field of higher education.
