The Azerbaijani Tourism Association together with local tour companies and hotels is working on a special tour packages for visitors of the "Eurovision 2012" contest which will be held in Baku in May 2012, Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev told media today.
He said that the approximate number of tourists who arrive in Azerbaijan on the eve of "Eurovision-2012" is being determined now. The special tour packages will be prepared.
"This package will include all services," he said. "The negotiations are held with the hotels and restaurants, and the heads of transport companies. The work is underway to include tickets for the show in tour packages."
He said that after the tour packages are formed for visitors of "Eurovision", the Azerbaijani Tourism Association will disseminate full information about this through the Internet.
"I do not see any major problems in conducting this work," he said. "All hotels and travel company show great interest in this work and fully operate for the contest to be held at a high level. I believe that this will be so."
