The Azerbaijani government is not considering the abolition of the transition from summer to winter time, the Cabinet of the Ministers told Trend on Wednesday.

The Azerbaijani government is not considering the abolition of the transition from summer to winter time, the Cabinet of the Ministers told Trend on Wednesday.

"Specific work isn't carried out and no discussions are conducted on this issue at the present" the government said.

The transition from summer to winter time in Azerbaijan is envisaged by the decision of Cabinet of Ministers on March 17, 1997. Hands of clock are moved forward on last Sunday of March and back on last Sunday of October in accordance with the law.
