Audience to be amazed by Baku show - Eurovision-2012 reference group chairman

A regular meeting of the Reference Group of the Eurovision 2012 Song Contest was held on March 17-18 in Baku.
The meeting discussed preparation of the contest. New information on the contest's production was reported and the design of scene in Baku Crystal Hall was discussed at the meeting, the contest's Core Team said Sunday.
Chairman of the reference group, Frank-Dieter Freiling said that Azerbaijan is preparing a grand show in May.
"Not only arena, but also the concept of the show will be new. We hope that Azerbaijan will organize a grand show. Audience, which is under the impression of the Düsseldorf show will be even more amazed by the show in Baku. A lot of pleasant surprises expects the audience," said Freiling.
Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest Jon Ola Sand pointed out that the last meeting of the reference group in Baku was fruitful.
"Very little time left until May. A number of details have to be settled in a short term. Each of those details plays an important role for holding the competition in accordance with required standards and quality", said Sand.
The 57th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Baku Crystal Hall, which is under construction near the area of the State Flag. The Eurovision 2012 semi-final rounds will be held in Baku on May 22 and May 24 and the final on May 26.
