Meeting of delegations of 42 countries participating in Eurovision-2012 held

A meeting of delegations from 42 countries which will participate in the Eurovision-2012 was held on Monday in Baku, the official website of the competition said.
At the meeting the delegations officially presented the songs, which will be performed by their representatives.
Participants were informed of the arena, on which the competition will be held, the concept of the scene, hotels and other important issues.
"We believe that a fantastic show will be held in Baku, in May," the head of the "Eurovision" Jan Ola Sand said at the meeting.
Heads of the delegations were informed of the "Baku Cristal Hall", where there will be a contest "Eurovision-2012" and of the show, which will be held.
It was noted that the lighting system, which until now has not been used in European TV channels, will be used at the show. In addition, postcards (video shown by prior performances of member country) this year will be different from previous ones. All 42 postcards will be devoted to Azerbaijan, which is hosting Eurovision-2012.
There will be a draw ceremony at the end of two days meeting. The sequence of participation in first and second semi final and the performance of 6 countries that will participate in the final will be determined in the result of the draw.
The draw ceremony will take place on Tuesday, March 20 at 14:00 Baku time and will be broadcasted live on eurovision.tv site.
