Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA), together with SOCAR will organizes Baku summer energy school on July 7-20.
Representatives responsible for the energy sector of SOCAR, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Ministry of Industry and Energy, the State Oil Fund, Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as representatives of international oil and gas companies operating in Azerbaijan will take part in the summer school, ADA told Trend on Tuesday.
In addition, leading experts of the Caspian countries, European and U.S. universities (Texas A&M, Lancaster University, University of Haifa) and representatives of the Nabucco project are expected to address student. Heads of such leading companies as BP, Exxon, TOTAL, Statoil, Lukoil, Oil and Gas Corporation of Georgia, the Trans Adriatic pipeline will also address the participants.
Baku summer energy school of ADA will focus on issues related to political and economic foundations of energy policy, environmental impact, contribution to regional development, and other issues.
The deadline for application to Baku summer energy school of ADA is April 23.
