Azerbaijan is interested in cooperation with the Chechen Republic in the cultural and tourism spheres, Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev said during a meeting with a delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister of Chechnya, Ali Isayev, the site of the Ministry said on Wednesday.
The sides exchanged views on the trends and prospects of cooperation between Chechnya and Azerbaijan at the meeting.
Isaev provide information on cultural and tourist sites, which is under construction in Chechnya and said that Chechnya is interested in studying the experience of Azerbaijan.
The discussions covered issues related to the organization of mutual days of culture, the participation of intellectuals and cultural figures in Chechnya in large-scale international events in the sphere of culture and art, which will be held in Azerbaijan.
Then Garayev provided information about Shahdag summer and winter tourist complex, which under construction in Azerbaijan, and brought to the attention of guests that Azerbaijan is ready for the mutual exchange of experiences on the issue of Chechnya's tourism sector.
