The group of military experts of Lithuania, Turkey and Hungary begin the inspection of the armed forces of Azerbaijan, the Lithuanian Ministry of Defence said on Wednesday.
Inspection will continue until April 15. It will be conducted under the regulations of the Vienna Document of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in November 2011.
Ministry of Defence of Lithuania noted that military auditors will familiarize with the reform of Azerbaijan's armed forces, modernization of weaponry and verify the official information provided on the deployment of troops and weapons.
Spokesman for Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan Eldar Sabiroglu told Trend that he does not have such information.
