The founder of the Baku news agency has been detained as a suspect.
Sudef Medzhidli has been detained on the basis of a complaint against the head of "7gun.az" site, Deputy Head of the Press Service of the Internal Affairs Ministry Ehsan Zahidov said.
Shiraliyev said in coplaint that Medzhidli beat him and took 1250 manat from his pocket.
Criminal case under article 221.2 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism) was filed.
Medzhidli was detained as a suspect yesterday. The case will be directed to the Nasimi District Court.
