The earthquakes which occurred in Sheki and Lankaran regions must be considered as ordinary seismological phenomena, head of the seismology and geodynamics department of the National Seismological Service Center of the National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Tahir Mammadov told Trend today.

He said that these earthquakes are related to tectonic processes. The areas, where the earthquake occurred, are considered as active zones from the seismic point of view.
