Half the state budget funds is allocated to education in Turkey, and the state will continue to pay considerable attention to this sphere, TRT Haber TV channel quotes Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan as saying on Wednesday.
According to Erdogan, support for education is one of the priorities of the government.
"Turkey will further seek to become one of the leading states in the field of education," Erdogan said.
