Clashes between salafis and government intensify in Tunisia, Al Arabia TV channel reported on Saturday.
According to the TV channel, Tunisian salafis accused the government that it is pro-American and do not run the country according to the laws of the Sharia.
Earlier, leader of Tunisian Al-Nahda Movement, Rashid al-Gannushi accused Jihadists, Salafis and fundamentalists of posing a threat to Tunisia.
According to al-Gannushi, the Tunisian government should take all measures to prevent the current actions of the above-mentioned forces and groups.
He also stressed that the fundamentalists pose a threat not only to the Islamic revival of Tunisia, but also for the country's security.
