Iran to improve conditions at Bilasuvar border crossing point

Head of the Iranian province of Ardebil Akbar Nikzad spoke about reconstruction of Bilasuvar checkpoint and the need to improve conditions for simplified arrival and departure of foreign visitors, Iranian agency İRNA said on Tuesday.
He said that good conditions must be created at Bilasuvar border crossing point.
"The governance must be improved at the border crossing point," he said. "The guests must be provided with guides to get familiar with the tourist zones of the country."
He said that the companies engaged in passenger transportation to different areas of the country must operate at Bilasuvar border crossing point.
Besides the Astara checkpoint, Bilasuvar and Julfa checkpoints operate between the two countries.
Iran unilaterally abolished the visa regime for Azerbaijani citizens since February 1, 2010.
