The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) is satisfied with the work of the senior coach of the national football team of Azerbaijan Berti Vogts, the president of the AFFA Rovnag Abdullayev told reporters on Saturday.
Expressing his opinion on the slogans "Resign!" sounded during the selection game of the national teams of Azerbaijan and Portugal in Baku, Abdullayev said that Berti Vogts is a good professional and manages well with his duties.
"Berti Vogts enjoys his work," the president of AFFA added.
Abdullayev noted that as everyone, he regrets for the loss of Azerbaijani national team.
"Presentation of a red card to the fullback Rauf Aliyev exerted psychological pressure on the team. "Resign!" and other unpleasant slogans shouted by some fans also affected their game," he said.
