As a result of the test, written and oral exams, one-year training courses and internships in courts, around 75 candidates for the posts of judges have reached the last stage: they will be interviewed in Judicial-Legal Council, the chairman of Baku Court of Appeal and Electoral Committee of Judges Iman Naghiyev told journalists on Thursday.
According to Naghiyev, after completion of the last stage, the list of candidates will be submitted to the head of state for approval.
It should be noted that, interview was conducted in Electoral Committee of Judges before.
It should be reminded that, to date, around 75 candidates for the posts of judges have passed five various stages.
Naghiyev noted that, the process of increasing the number of judges in Azerbaijan's various courts also continues. According to him, the number of judges in Baku Court of Appeal has increased from 48 to 53 people.
