The Turkish Aviation Administration plans to expand the country's aviation fleet using two-seater aircraft in 2014 and to begin test flights, head of the administration Osman Yildirim said on Wednesday, Turkish Sabah newspaper reported.

According to the information, the company plans to produce 500 two-seater aircraft annually. Despite the fact the exact value has not yet been announced, Yildirim said that the aircraft could be bought at the price of a mid-level luxury car.

The Turkish Aviation Administration plans to implement a light sport aircraft in the production project, he added.

Yildirim said the light aircraft production plant will be built in Ankara by late October.
