"Now our main goal is to be the first not only in Azerbaijan, but also to win the title on the international arena. This is exactly what our efforts will be directed at. Naturally there was excitement, but not as strong as in the World championship or European championship. Ismayilli has greeted us very warmly, and we just wanted to thank so cheerful reception with our performance," Marina Durunda, the holder of the first place among adults, said.
"I think I still need to work on myself and reach my full potential. As you know, it is the end of the season. We will work on new ideas, new exercises. I believe the next step will be the European Championship to be held in Baku," Lala Yusifova, who took the second place, said.
The representatives of the Neftchi, Baku Gymnastics School, Spartacus and Sarhadchi clubs also competed at the championship along with the gymnasts of the Republican comprehensive sports school and Baku Flames club.
