Repair of a bridge on the Baku-Gazakh highway in Azerbaijan's Shamkir region will be completed in the near future, head of the press-service of Azeryolservis JSC of Azerbaijani Transport Ministry, Punhan Mursaliyev said on Nov. 21.
According to him, the 15 meter bridge consists of eight spans, two of which have been deformed by overloading.
Intense rains in the West led to a number of problems on the Baku-Gazakh highway. Cracks have appeared on the bridge. The movement of vehicles was limited on a part of the road because of this.
