One hundred and fifty-four cars were stolen or hijacked in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku in 2013, Baku State Traffic Police Department spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel, Vagif Asadov told Trend on Jan. 14.
He said investigations turned up 120 stolen cars and searches are underway for the remaining 34.
Vagif Asadov also stressed that during this period the traffic police officers detained seven criminals, and in two cases the officers found drugs.
