The head and an employee of the company that carried out demolition of a building on the Heydar Aliyev Avenue in Azerbaijani capital of Baku have been arrested.
Narimanov District Court has made a decision on the arrest of the director of the Araz-2011A LTD Araz Hasanov and the excavator operator Gamet Mammadov, who conducted these works, Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office said on Feb. 6.
Concrete and stone constructions collapsed on the roadway on Jan. 25 in Baku during the demolition of a five-storey building.
As a result, Bayramli Javid Adalat oglu and Alakbarov Asiman Salman oglu, who were in a car near the building at that time, were killed.
