Deputy head of Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company Mubariz Madatov has been dismissed.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on March 17 on dismissal of the deputy chairman of the Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company Mubariz Israfil oglu Madatov.
Mubariz Madatov's son Madatov Khalid has been recently detained as a suspect in a car accident.
A Mercedes-Benz G- 55 car collided with a VAZ -2106 car on Zikh highway on March 15. As a result, Azerbaijani People's Artist Agasalim Abdullayev's wife and grandson died while Abdullayev and his daughter-in-law received injuries of varying severity.
A criminal case was filed and the driver of the Mercedes-Benz G- 55 car, Khalid Madatov was detained. It was revealed that he was intoxicated.
