Kempinski Hotel Badamdar on the occasion of the annual Earth Day, celebrated worldwide on the April 22, organizes two-day screening of Home film.

Home is a 2009 documentary by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. The film is almost entirely composed of aerial shots of various places on Earth. It shows the diversity of life on Earth and how humanity is threatening the ecological balance of the planet. The film is produced 5 years ago but it remains extremely popular and is part of many environmental campaigns worldwide.

The first screening took place at the Auditorium of the Kempinski Hotel Badamdar. The event was sponsored by Greentech.

On April 23, a public viewing is organized free of charge at Park Cinema in Metro Park. The sponsor of this event is Park Cinema, who was glad to add this activity to its list of social responsible projects.

Earth Day by Kempinski Hotel Badamdar received support from UN office in Baku as well as the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan.

After the Earth Day the social initiatives of Kempinski Hotel Badamdar will be continued with the Ocean Day on the June 8, to join celebration of the International Ocean Day.
