President of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) Rovnag Abdullayev said in an interview with AFFA site that he hopes for a successful performance of Karabakh Azerbaijani football club (FC) in the group stage of the European League, as well as the fact that the team will set a record in the history of Azerbaijani football.
He also congratulated Karabakh FC after reaching the European League group stage and wished even greater success to the team management and players.
Karabakh FC showed professional and confident game in all games before the European League group stage and the fans' support has played an important role in achieving success by the team, he said.
Karabakh FC got the right to take part in the games of the group stage of the European League for the first time in its history.
