Azeryolservis OJSC of the ministry of transport of Azerbaijan has completed part of the work on the construction of a three-span overpass parallel to the previously constructed one on the 16th kilometer of the Baku-Guba-Russian border road, the press service of Azeryolservis OJSC of the ministry of transport of Azerbaijan told Trend Oct.10.
Iron frame of the overpass is being assembled at the current time. After that, work on concreting and construction of the supporting structure will begin.
Azeryolservis also said that a new road junction will be laid here in order to facilitate traffic in different directions.
"A new overpass with dimensions of 20 meters and a height of 5 meters will provide access of the vehicles coming from the village of Bilgah for the Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh road and the existing overpass will provide access from the Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh road to the direction of the village of Bilgah," said the message.
At present, the current overpass provides access to the main highway of the vehicles coming from Khirdalan in Baku and Sumgait.
