State Maritime Administration of Azerbaijan has rendered assistance to an Iranian vessel distressed in the territorial waters of Azerbaijan, a message from the administration said on Nov.4.
Iranian Amur 2504 vessel, sailing under Russian flag, filed a distress signal (SOS) on Nov.3 at 15:23 (UTC/GMT +4 hours) as it had run out of fuel.
As a result of the operative measures, the movement of the vessel that was heading to Iran's Anzali port was resumed on Nov.4 at 11:30 (UTC/GMT +4 hours), according to the State Maritime Administration.
