Azerbaijan's Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Netherlands to Azerbaijan Robert Jan Gabrielse on Jan.13, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told Trend.
Talking about the military and political situation in the region, Hasanov said that Armenia's aggressive policy protracts the peace talks on resolving Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and negatively affects the situation in the region.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the development of Azerbaijani-Dutch relations, issues of mutual interest and establishing of military cooperation between the two countries, said the Defense Ministry.
