Baku 2015 European Games to be presented in Moscow (UPDATE)

Moscow will host the presentation of the Baku 2015 European Games, Azerbaijan's Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov said in Moscow Feb. 14.
He made the remarks at a press conference dedicated to the Baku 2015 European Games, Trend's special correspondent reported.
Rahimov said the presentation will take place as part of the Week of Azerbaijan.
The minister said the organizing committee of the first ever European games chose students as the volunteers in the event.
He said 150,000 students answered questions in a questionnaire, including, the question whether or not this event is interesting for them, and which kinds of sports attract them.
"Over 20,000 students expressed a desire to work at the games. They will be in two groups. One group is a coordination group, while the second one will include those who will take part in the opening and closing of the games. Each of the groups has its own centers, where they are trained," he said.
The minister said a registration is open for journalists who will cover the first European games.
"A media village was prepared to this end," said the minister, adding that the issue of food supply was also solved.
Rahimov said Azerbaijan has a certain statistics on the results of the Olympic Games.
"I don't want to think ahead, but there are benchmarks, which we will compete against. Judo, taekwondo, boxing, rowing, and gymnastics - these are the main sports where we expect rewards," he said.
