The Central Election Commission (CEC) sends official invitations to the representatives of international organizations to participate in all electoral processes, CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov told reporters Aug. 29.
He said that the CEC works on this standard.
"While inviting the international organizations, we have always told them that we will create all necessary conditions for them," he said. "We are creating all conditions for the official representatives for their participation in all electoral processes. The media representatives are also involved in the processes related to the verification of documents and signatures. The representatives of international organizations must notify about errors and violations. This is the constructive cooperation."
Panahov also said that the CEC has been acting with this position for the last 10 years.
"I do not make this statement only for the media," he said. "At the same time, on behalf of the CEC, we send the official letters with the invitations to the international organizations."
The parliamentary election in Azerbaijan will be held November 1.
