Russia's President Vladimir Putin has sent a letter of condolences to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in connection with deaths in a fire on a platform of the Gunashli offshore field.
In his letter, President Putin extending deepest condolences for the loss of lives in the Gunashli oil platform fire, asked to convey his sincere sympathy and support to the families and friends of those killed.
He also wished a speedy recovery to all those affected.
