A 3-year-old child was killed and three other people were injured in an explosion in a house in the Absheron District of Azerbaijan on Oct. 20.
The explosion occurred as a result of gas leakage in a house in the Hokmali settlement in Absheron, Trend’s correspondent reported Oct. 20.
The explosion injured Mushfig Gurbanov, 44, Shabruz Novruzova, 44, and their 12-year-old daughter Leyla Gurbanli.
Their 3-year-old daughter Banuchichek Gurbanli died in the explosion.
The injured were taken to the Republican Burn Center. Reportedly, they suffered heavy burns.
An investigation is underway into the incident.
