Elkhan Mammadov, secretary general of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), has been nominated as a member of the Executive Committee of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
His nomination was decided upon during an extraordinary meeting of the AFFA Executive Committee on Nov. 14.
AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev, First Vice-President Rauf Aliyev, Vice-President Elshad Nasirov and other members of the Executive Committee – Iskandar Javadov and Vagif Sadigov took part in the meeting.
