Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) and Izmir Katip Celebi University of Turkey have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation.
The document provides great opportunities for working together and implementing various projects from scientific and research activities to student exchange and post-graduate programs to organization of conferences and workshops.
The MoU was signed by Rector of Izmir Katip Celebi University Galip Akhan and Rector of BHOS Elmar Gasimov.
Rector Gasimov said Azerbaijan-Turkey ties were established on the basis of fraternal and friendly relations and touched upon the issues of mutual interest.
Mr Gasimov said the document would give an impetus to the development of cooperation between BHOS and the University.
Rector of Izmir Katip Celebi University Galip Akhan said that Baku and Izmir were twin cities tied by long-term stable relations.
