An official meeting has taken place between General Director of ISESCO, Chairman of Federation of the Universities of Islamic World Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, who visits Baku to participate in the Forum of 4th World Intercultural Dialogue and UNEC Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov.
Highlighting that our country makes significant contributions to the intercultural and inter-religious dialogue and the development of relations among the Muslim countries, the guest brought to attention the FUIW under ISESCO to be an effective platform that represents Islamic world among the universities.
Stressing that 2017 was announced the “Year of Islamic Solidarity” in our country, Muradov informed the guest about the innovations implemented in higher education in Azerbaijan, including UNEC. Muradov thanked the guest for support rendered in UNEC’s election a board member of the FUIW and expressed confidence for UNEC to participate in the activities of the FUIW more actively.
Broad exchange of views on the future cooperation between the FUIW and UNEC was made within the meeting.
UNEC is the brand of Azerbaijan State University of Economics. The brand of UNEC has been registered and patented by the State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patent on January 21 2016.
