The 4th Islamic Solidarity Games, which are being held in Baku, will further strengthen the ties between Islamic states, Secretary General of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) Faisal Abdulaziz Al-Nassar said at a press conference in Baku May 11.
He said that Azerbaijan has prepared all the facilities at a high level for the Games.
He expressed confidence that in the history of the Islamic Solidarity Games, the Baku 2017 will be one of the games held at the highest level.
The Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games, the opening ceremony of which will take place May 12, started May 8 and will last until May 22 in Azerbaijan’s capital on 16 sports grounds in 20 kinds of sports – 17 Olympic ones and three non-Olympic ones.
