Fuad Muradov, chairman of Azerbaijan’s parliamentary committee of youth and sports, has proposed to increase funding of political parties in the country.
Muradov was speaking Nov. 13 at a joint meeting of five parliamentary committees within discussion of Azerbaijan’s draft state budget for 2018 and the next three years.
He said that at present, it is necessary to revise the volume of funding of the parties represented in the Azerbaijani Parliament.
“Today, the volume of funding of some non-governmental organizations working against Azerbaijan exceeds the volume of funding of political parties by five times,” Muradov said.
