A magnitude 3 earthquake has occurred in Lerik city of Azerbaijan’s Lankaran district, Republican Seismic Survey Center of Azerbaijan told Trend.
The tremors were recorded at 03:00 (GMT+4).
The earthquake occurred at depth of 18 km.
Earlier, a 5.7 magnitude earthquake hit Aghdam district Nov. 15 at 11.48 p.m. The earthquake occurred at depth of 25 km.
Another earthquake measuring magnitude 3 in the epicenter was recorded Nov. 16 at 02:02 a.m. in Azerbaijan’s Barda district. The earthquake occurred at depth of 25 km. The earthquake was felt in surrounding areas.
