The delegation of UNEC participated in the 50-th jubilee of the foundation of the Ural State Economic University of the Russian Federation.
The jubilee event was attended by the director of the Russian School of Economics, the associated professor Mansur Barkhudarov and the head of the “Economics” chair, associated professor Muslim Ibrahimov and the representatives of influential and important education, science, economics and political circles of Russia, as well as the guests from different higher education institutions of the world.
In the event the delegation of UNEC conveyed the congratulatory letter of the rector, professor Adalat Muradov.
The rector of the Ural State Economic University, professor Yakov Petrovich highly appreciated the establishment of the Russian Economics School at UNEC: “the activity of the Russian Economics School of UNEC will give a powerful impetus to the exchange of knowledge of scientists of the both countries, including the strengthening of integration processes in the science and education areas”. The rector, expressing the interest in cooperation with UNEC emphasized that the activities of RES were expanding these opportunities.
Within the framework of the visit, the meetings were held with the heads of the structural departments of the Ural State Economic University, were discussed the directions of cooperation between two higher education institutions.
The UNEC delegation also met with the head of the Azerbaijani Diaspora of Yekaterinburg, Shahin Shikxlinski. The head of Diaspora said that the Azerbaijani young people living in Yekaterinburg were interested in studying at UNEC, as well.
