As many as 1,434 decisions were made in Azerbaijan in November 2017 in connection with foreigners and stateless persons’ violations in the migration sphere, including in connection with violation of the requirements of administrative legislation, the State Migration Service reported.
A total of 205 of them were related to the legalization of foreigners and stateless persons’ residence in Azerbaijan, 780 were connected with the use of an administrative fine, but without administrative deportation from the country, while 407 - with the use of the fine and administrative deportation.
Moreover, 23 of the decisions were related to the restrictions on entry into Azerbaijan in accordance with Article 16.1.8 of the Migration Code, and 19 were linked to the replacement of the document on temporary or permanent residence with a new document.
The Migration Service also noted that during the first nine months, 52,988 applications of foreigners and stateless persons were received in connection with registration at the place of stay.
