Baku does not only have a great track, but the city itself is also interesting, said the Canadian F1 driver from the Williams team, Lance Stroll, sharing his impressions of the upcoming Azerbaijani Grand Prix, the “Championship” reports.
"I have great memories of Baku, because here I won my first podium in Formula 1, and this can’t be forgotten," he said.
According to Stroll, until last year he had not been to Baku, and everything was new for him.
"The track is exciting. Since this is a street track, there are walls around, and there is no room for error," said the driver.
Formula 1 Grand Prix of Azerbaijan will be held in Baku on April 27-29.
