Jahan Hashimzadeh, the pupil of the senior class of the Gymnasium of Natural Sciences of Sumgait city, received 700 points at the entrance exams for the second specialty group held by the State Examination Center participated in the “One day at UNEC” project.
Jahan Hashimzadeh noting that he wanted to study in the Finance specialty of the International School of Economics at UNEC, said that his target was UNEC since the beginning of the preparation for the entrance exams: “I’m closely following the UNEC achievements. There are many reasons for my selecting UNEC. I think the education is of higher quality here, the transparency and objectivity of the exams attracts me. It is great that the special scholarships are granted for everyone enrolled at the university with over 600 points and 15 students getting the highest grade points on each course at the exams without the difference in faculty. I know that I can get 2 diplomas within 4 years only at UNEC. My parents recommend UNEC, as well. In short, my dream was not only to be the student, but to be the student of UNEC. As, the choice of the high school graduates enrolled at the university with the highest results within the last years was the UNEC, I knew that the enrolment competition for my target was strong and I should get the highest result. I tried and did it!”
J. Hashimzadeh also met with Javad Aliyev and Arzu Mammadova, who had been admitted to the UNEC with 700 grade points in the last academic year. The UNEC students gave him the detailed information on the international and dual degree programs, Electronic University Model and teaching process. They said that UNEC is implementing the dual degree programs with the leading universities in the world – the London University/London School of Economics and Montpelier University in France.
The friends of J.Hashimzadeh who had received more than 600 grade points at the entrance exams were the one day student of UNEC, as well. J.Hashimzadeh also said that he helped his friends who would participate in the second exams of the State Examination Center.
They attended the lesson on the subject “Introduction to economics” in English.
J.Hashimzadeh and his friends said that they had spent the unforgettable day at the International School of Economics and they noted that they would begin the new academic year at UNEC.
