Representatives of Azerbaijan are taking part in the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, which started on March 2 in the city of Doha (Qatar), Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation told Trend on Friday.
The country is represented at the competition by members of the Azerbaijani national team Ivan Tikhonov and Nikita Simonov.
On the third day of the competition, Nikita Simonov, having successfully performed in the exercise on the rings, won a bronze medal.
Ivan Tikhonov reached the final of exercises on parallel bars and crossbar. Azerbaijani gymnast will perform in the finals tomorrow.
